L-39 Jet Training for those who were BORN TO FLY!
Climb into the cockpit of the wonderfully aerobatic L-39 for
a flight you’ll never forget
The L-39 is one of those jets every pilot loves. It's easy to
fly, very maneuverable and the visibility from both cockpits is
excellent. Just about everyone who has flown one in Moscow wants
one. In fact, several of our alumni are now L-39 owners.
 That's
why we're really happy to be able to offer wannabe L-39 pilots
flights in the US. We've teamed up with Aces High to provide L-39
jet training and orientation flights near Las Vegas.
Schedule an orientation flight with Lt. Col. Fred Clifton, an
active-duty, career USAF fighter pilot, and we know you'll be
back for more. "Spanky" is authorized by the FAA to provide both
L-39 training and LOA checkouts. (An LOA is the Letter of Authorization
the FAA requires for you to serve as pilot in command of an aircraft.
The FAA now calls this an Experimental Type Rating.)
Training flights are available most weekends. Orientation packages
range from $1500 to $2200 and no prior jet experience is required.
The cost of complete pilot training varies according to your individual
qualifications.
