L-39 Jet Training Location

Our L-39 flights in Las Vegas now take off from Henderson Airport.

The following info applies to L-39 flight instruction in Las Vegas. The flights currently offered in Las Vegas are for entertainment purposes only. Participants will make their very own movie in an L-39 jet trainer. If you're interested in L-39 flight training, please contact us for current info.

What You Can Expect on Day One

1. Arrive
2. Meet Lt. Col. Fred “Spanky” Clifton
3. Get fitted for a flight suit, helmet and safety gear
4. Attend Ground School, where you will:

• Receive thorough safety briefings
• Learn physiological effects of "G" forces
• Learn the basic flying characteristics of the L-39

5. Time to fly! Receive hands-on instruction at the controls of the L- 39 jet trainer.

Note: The L-39 was designed as a trainer. This means the pilot in command can override rear-seat controls as necessary to maintain flight safety.

What's Next?

If you choose to continue with your L-39 flight training, you will work with your instructor to customize a training program for you. The amount of classroom and flight time required to prepare for your LOA checkout flight varies according to your prior flying experience.
