Jillian Morris
 |
| Jillian Morris
- Shark Adventures, Bahamas |
Jillian Morris has always had a passion for the ocean. Having
grown up on the water, she has never been far from it. An internship
with Mote Marine Lab’s Center for Shark Research marked the beginning
of her work with sharks across the globe. From Australia to Isla
Guadalupe, she has logged hundreds of hours in the water with
some of the largest apex predators in the world. After earning
a BS in Animal Behavior from the University of New England in
2005 she pursued opportunities that allowed her to work with sharks
and be in the water as much as possible.
Jillian is a certified dive instructor who loves sharks and
loves to share her knowledge of them with others. (Her car license
plate reads SHRKGRL.) Jillian’s worked with great white sharks
in the Farallons and Isla Guadalupe, lemon sharks in Marquesas,
nurse sharks in the Dry Tortugas and tiger sharks in Western Australia.
She is actively involved in the shark conservation world, writing
articles for numerous publications and doing outreach programs
across the US. She uses photography and video to share these amazing
animals with the world.

Ian Woodcock
 |
| Ian Woodcock -
Shark Adventures, Bahamas |
Woody got certified to dive by the British Sub-Aqua Club (BS-AC),
in a quarry in Oxfordshire, England. To quote Woody, "That
was way back in 1975, yep, when sex was safe and diving was dangerous!"
This experience effected him so profoundly that he ran off and
joined the Royal Airforce, where he stayed for over 23 years.
Although a jet engine mechanic by trade, the RAF was where he
renewed his interest in diving, taking part in many expeditions
around the world, in later years also leading trips. Some of his
favorites locations are Half Moon Cay, Belize, North Male Atoll,
Maldives, Malta and Yanbu (on the Saudi side of the Red Sea).
Received Instructor rating in 1991. Later, after leaving the RAF,
moved to the Bahamas to teach scuba diving full time for 8 years.
During this time Woody became one of the few divers in the world
to be trained to hand feed reef sharks in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
Woody also specializes in dive video and photography and has been
involved in many TV and movie shoots. Woody helped to create our
Bahamas shark adventure....before he married the make-up artist
that helped turn him into Johnny Depp's double for the Pirates
of the Caribbean movies and moved to Los Angeles....now we're
pitching him as a possible host to a TV show about us...
