Moscow Fun Flights

What do top Russian test pilots do on their days off? They go flying, of course! They leave their MiGs at the office and travel to area flying clubs where a variety of fun planes and helicopters are available for flights.

Yak-52
The twin-seat Yakovlev Yak-52 is a very aerobatic plane capable of pulling +7 / -5 g’s. It first flew in 1976 and is still in production in Romania. The Yak-52 has a top speed of 223 mph and was designed to serve as a primary trainer for students who would later transition to flying jet aircraft.

Yak-18
The Yak-18T is a four-seat sport/touring aircraft, with side-by-side seating for a pilot and three passengers.

Sigma-4
This helicopter is just too cute for words. Everyone should have one in their backyard. Choose a flight in this pilot favorite and have the option of landing at an area yacht club.

Mi-2 “Hoplite”
Used by the military for recon, rescue and transport, the Mi-2 helicopter holds five.
