In
March of this year, new government regulations went into effect, making
it illegal to do anything to attract white sharks within the protected
waters of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary. Incredible Adventures
is proud to have been granted a special permit by NOAA that allows Incredible
Adventures to continue to attract white
sharks to the company's shark boats and cages by using seal-shaped
decoys.
The permit is an acknowledgement of the educational value
of our white shark expeditions.
Reading about white sharks and seeing them on TV is not the same as
actually seeing a white shark in the wild.
While we cannot guarantee you'll
see a white shark on our trips, we take you to the very best place in
the United States to view white sharks at the very best time of the
year. We're happy to report we had two shark sightings our opening weekend.
Shark season in San Francisco continues through November
15th. Space is still available on select dates. Call or
email Sheri for
available dates and details.
Air
Hogs, maker of remote-controlled vehicles and the winner of 2008's
"Toy of the Year Award", celebrated the company's 10th anniversary by
giving away a Hollywood Top Gun Adventure
in Los Angeles. Winner Joey Roach now stars in a new promotional video
featuring his flight in the L-39 jet trainer.
If you'd like to fly the L-39,
give us a call. A variety of programs are offered in the US and Europe.
Pricing starts at $2950.
Bob for floating apples, gather globs of candy, soar like
Superman. Come in costume. Be a martian, an
astronaut, a comic book hero. A special Halloween-themed zero-g flight
is slated for October 31 in Miami. For information on upcoming zero-gravity
flights in Florida, Vegas and elsewhere, visit
our website or call us at 800-644-7382.
There's
no such thing as a bad time to fly a MiG or Cape
Town jet. Flights are available all year long. That said, you should
keep weather in mind when you're planning an incredible flying
adventure. Winter is just around the corner in Russia, which
means summer is just around the corner in Cape Town.
If you'd like to fly a legend, give Greg
a call at 941-346-2603.
We've adopted another high school senior. We're happy to
have another great intern from Sarasota's Riverview High School helping
out in the IA office. Lexi is a world traveler at 18 and is interested
in a career in international business. We'll try not to corrupt her
fine young mind :)
One of our Hollywood Top Gun jets will be appearing in an
air show in Boulder, Nevada in November. Boulder is located near Las
Vegas. If you'd like to attend the show and make a movie in the L-39
while you're there, let
us know.

Learn
to fly beneath the sea in the SAS Super Aviator. Our next Underwater
Flight School takes place in February off the Hawaiian island
of Maui. One, two and three day programs are available. Pricing
ranges from $3350 to $8650.
You'll be trained to co-pilot the world's first underwater airplane,
a one-of-a-kind two-person submersible modeled after the A-10 airplane. Much like a jet trainer, the Aviator features identical controls in each of its pressurized cockpits and can be flown from either seat.
No dive certification or flying experience is necessary. Virtually
anyone in good health can experience the thrill of flying beneath
the ocean, exploring reefs and encountering sea life. For more
information, call, email or visit
our website.

On a dive operation in the Florida Keys, the SAS Super Aviator
attracted the attention of a very curious manatee. If you've
got some time, check out the great video captured by the SAS safety
divers and SAS cameras. We've posted it to our website.
Somewhere, there's a manatee trying to convince his manatee friends
he's seen an unidentified flying object with little white men
inside.
All joking aside, the video highlights
the ability of the battery-powered Super Aviator to explore the
oceans without disturbing sea life.

If you're interested in space and "unidentified
flying objects", you may want to check out The
Disclosure Project website. The people behind the website
are working to identify military and government witnesses to UFO
events and projects.
IA's
Jane Reifert found herself listening to rocket scientists debate
the existence of UFO's at "Space 2009", an American Institute
of Aeronautics and Astronautics conference held in Pasadena in
September. Jane co-chairs the professional organization's
space tourism committee.
If the group does prove alien spaceships exist,
you can count on Incredible Adventures to do everything possible
to get the right to sell you a spaceship ride.
In the meantime, you can choose from a variety
of other space-related adventures, including zero-gravity
flights in the US and hands-on cosmonaut
training in Russia.
For more information on our space training
adventures, including future suborbital flights in XCOR's
Lynx, call or email
us today.

Director
of Sales Greg Claxton has used
a lot of excuses for being late to work....daddy-daughter breakfast
at his child's school...dentist appointment...parent-teacher
conference...but his most recent excuse is our favorite of all
time.
His 12-year-old SUV caught on fire on the way to the office.
We thought he was exaggerating about the flames and firemen, until
we saw the cell phone video and pictures. (R.I.P. ugly black
SUV with the muffler we could hear from two blocks away.)
If you'd like to know what it's like to fight fires in cars,
buildings and more, join us for our new Firefighter
Adventure in Orlando. It's a great group adventure
for a group of adrenaline-loving friends. For details, call 800-644-7382
or visit our website.
