Annual Florida Event Features Incredible Speakers, Exhibits and More

We're proud to be one of the sponsors of this year's SharkCon, happening July 9 and 10 at the Florida State Fairgrounds, near Tampa. The "jawsome" event combines ocean education with "the fun of a Comic Con". A single-day ticket is just $14.95 for adults and $4.99 for kids. Parking is $6.

Exhibitors this year include The Florida Aquarium, The Clearwater Aquarium and Sea World. Guest speakers slated to appear include Sharks4Kids Founder Jillian Morris Brake, Ocean Conservationist Wendy Benchley, UNEXSO's Cristina Zenato and Chris Fischer from OCEARCH.  Proceeds from SharkCon 3 will benefit The Florida Aquarium's rehabilitation program, and Mote Marine Laboratory's shark research. Cornell and the University of Queensland are offering a free online "shark class". It's a great opportunity for shark lovers to learn more about the biology and conservation of sharks.
