Farallones
Cam - The California Academy of Sciences, the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service and PRBO Conservation Science have teamed up
to launch a live streaming web camera. This camera, which sits
atop the lighthouse, can be used to observe breeding bird colonies,
and breeding seal and sea lion colonies. It can also be used to
observe ocean conditions and the off-shore activity of birds,
whales and, possibly, great white sharks.
Farallones
Marine Sanctuary Association - Provides the Gulf of the Farallones
National Marine Sanctuary with significant financial support,
and is recognized as one of the largest and most effective National
Marine Sanctuary partners in the country.
Gulf
of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary - The Gulf of
the Farallones Marine Sanctuary is known worldwide for its abundance
of wildlife, including a large population of seabirds and great
white sharks. The Sanctuary oversees a White Shark Stewardship
Program and Seabird Protection Network.

white sharks and is actively engaged in white shark research.
Aquarium
of the Bay on Fishermen's Wharf in San Francisco is concerned
with conservation of San Francisco Bay and its watershed. Research
conducted by the Aquarium of the Bay includes shark tagging and
captive breeding.
