Skydive
Denali FAQ
Do I need to be a licensed skydiver?
No. All skydives will be done in tandem with a skydiving professional.
If I am a licensed skydiver, can I jump solo?
No. This is a very specialized, high altitude jump, using very
specialized equipment. All skydivers must jump tandem with one
of our experienced high-altitude tandem masters. Jumping tandem
does have its benefits. You can just kick back and enjoy the view
while someone else does the flying.
What about video?
You’ll be trained in the use of a wristcam, allowing you to shoot
your own jump video. In addition, you’ll receive a copy of additional
Mt McKinley Skydive footage taken by our staff videographer.
What’s this cost?
The price is $25,000. The cost includes all jump training, use
of jump equipment, a Mt McKinley skydive and airtaxi flight from
the drop zone back to Talkeetna. We’ve also included five nights
at the Talkeetna
Lodge and a meal or two.
What’s not included?
Air travel to and from Talkeetna, most meals & incidentals.
