Weather Policy These boats are designed to operate in all weather conditions. There may be times, however, when it's simply too nasty outside for this adventure to be enjoyable. In the event the program is cancelled due to weather, unforeseen mechanical problems, etc., there is no refund. We will work with you to reschedule your Sea Ops mission.
Location Training takes place at our maritime operations training center in Hull, MA, about an hour's drive from Bostons Logan Airport. (Note: Mobile training teams are available. If you'd like a custom boating operation near you, please contact us for a special quote.)
Availability Sea Ops are typically offered June - October, which coincides with whale viewing season.
Accommodations We recommend Sea Ops participants stay at the nearby Nantasket Beach Hotel. For information on rooms and rates, see their web site or call 781-925-4500.
Physical Requirement This isn't a leisurely day of boating. Its a fun-filled, physically demanding day of adventure. If you have a history of heart problems or back problems, or are pregnant, this mission isnt for you. It is solely your responsibility to determine if you are physically fit for this adventure. You will be required to sign a Release of Liability as a condition of participation.
Age Requirement Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must receive special permission to participate from our mission leader. There is no maximum age.
Uniform You will need to supply your own sweater/sweatshirt, rain jacket and closed-toe rubber sole shoes.
Cost: $5500 US per boat. Each boat can accommodate up to 5 individuals. Price includes expert training from an ex-special forces marine operations specialist, wave-fighting adventure, light breakfast and lunch. Accommodations and travel to the Sea Ops maritime operations training site are not included.
