As Close to Everest as You Can Get in a Single Day
Take a helicopter to breakfast at the World's Highest Resert
Depart from Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport at 7 am and fly east, parallel to the Himalayan range. You'll glide above Sherpa mountain villages, monasteries, mountain lakes and snowy peaks. See Khumbu Himal, Ama Dablam, Katnega, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori and Mt. Everest from the air.
Weather permitting, your pilot will make a brief stop at either Kala Patthar or Syanboche on the way to breakfast, providing an opportunity for photos. Then, it's on to the famous Everest View Resort for breakfast. After a meal you won't soon forget, you'll board the helicopter for your flight back to Kathmandu.
