Faster Training in the F-104 Good news for busy adventurers! You can now complete the same great Starfighter Space Flight Training in half the time. What debuted as a four-day program at NASA's Kennedy Space Center near Orlando is now a two-day program, thanks to some careful tweaking of the itinerary. Day one now starts bright and early at the NASA badging center, where you'll be issued the ID badge needed to get past the guard gate and meet with Starfighters' flight surgeon. Once you're cleared to start training, you'll be fitted for your flight suit, helmet and flight safety equipment. The rest of the morning is devoted to ejection seat, parachute and water survival training. After lunch in a cafeteria full of rocket scientists, you'll be briefed in flight physiology and the principles of high-altitude flight. Your knowledge is then put to the test during a late afternoon "flight" in a hypobaric pressure chamber. Day two starts even earlier, but does anyone really mind getting up early to fly a fighter jet? After a final safety review and final cockpit safety checks, you'll strap into the cockpit of the F-104 and take off on a supersonic mission you'll never forget. Your Starfighter flight profile has been carefully designed to prepare you for the physical challenges of a suborbital space flight. You'll experience the stomach-crunching g-forces of a high-speed vertical climb and the near-magical sensation of weightlessness that kicks in as you begin your journey back toward earth. Just when you think it can't get any better, you'll perform a rapid descent and space shuttle profile landing. The cost of the two-day training program is $30,000. You can add a second training flight in the plane we call "the astronaut maker" for $23,000. Our new itinerary hasn't been posted to our website yet, but you can download it here. For more information, please call or email us. thrillionaire: n. a rich person who pursues expensive and dangerous pastimes Nik Halik, perhaps the world's best known thrillionaire, crossed another adventure off his bucket list when he made an incredible Skydive over Everest on May 18th. Nik is the author of the self-published book "The Thrillionaire" and the man behind www.thethrillionaires.com, kind of a Facebook/social networking site for thrillionaires and wannabe thrillionaires. You can read more about Nik, on his personal website, www.nikinspace.com. If a Skydive Over Everest is on your bucket list, give us a call. No skydiving experience is required to make a tandem jump near the world's tallest mountain. Based on current exchange rates, the cost is $31,000 and we're now taking reservations for October. For more information, visit our website or call us today. (Special thanks to Everest Skydive's Wendy Smith for the great photos!) The Incredible Difference We're
not going to lie to you. There is another company selling MiG
flights in Russia. We're not going to tell you they're a bad company,
because we don't believe in talking trash about competitors. Instead,
we're going to tell you why we think you should book your MiG
adventure with Incredible Adventures. Incredible Adventures
has been delivering MiG
flights in Russia since 1993, longer than any other company, American
or Russian. In nearly 17 years of business, we've arranged more flights
than we can count. One customer has flown with us 12 times and just
called to ask about another flight. Hopefully, that tells you something. Obtaining security clearance now takes up to 60 days, so if you'd like to fly a MiG with Incredible Adventures, plan ahead and call or email Greg. (See photos of our latest clients here.) Remember...Father's Day is June 20th |
