Six Gill Sharks and a Sub Named Idabel

We're really not sure how to describe our newest shark adventure. We're not even sure if we should call it a shark adventure. Maybe we should pitch it as a sub adventure. Either way, we know that words, no matter how carefully chosen, can't begin to convey the excitement of our newest underwater adventure.

You really have to watch the videos. But first, we need to warn you. They're going to make you want to board a plane, bound for the tropical island paradise known as Roatan.

There off the coast of Honduras, you'll come to know the one-of-a-kind sub named Idabel and the one-of-a-kind explorer who brought her to life.

Our new five day/four night submersible shark adventure is introductory-priced at $5600 (same price for one or two) and includes deluxe waterfront accommodations, sightseeing adventures, airport transfers and some meals. Shark Week Kicks Off July 31st

Our love-hate relationship with Discovery Channel's annual "Shark Week" continues. Some of the shark programming is well-done and informative. Many of the shows, however, help perpetuate the myth that sharks are monster, man-eating, killing machines. It's OK to watch. We will be. But please watch responsibly and remember that sharks have more to fear from people than people have to fear from sharks.

Hollywood Top Gun Pilots to Appear at Wings Over Camarillo

Aviation fans in the Los Angeles, California area may want to plan a visit to Wings Over Camarillo, an air show and aviation event taking place in the town of Camarillo on August 20 and 21st. Tickets are only $15 and some of our Hollywood Top Gun pilots will be performing for the crowd. Visit the Wings Over Camarillo website to learn more.

New Night & Sunset MiG-29 Flights

We can now offer special night and sunset aerobatic missions in the MiG-29 Fulcrum. These after-hour flying adventures will be available for the first time ever, beginning in October.

MiG-29 fighter pilots routinely train for night combat missions. Now, thanks to the upgrading of light equipment at the Sokol Airbase runway, civilians can experience the unique excitement of night flights.

Choose to fly a MiG-29 into the dark sky and perform aerobatics with a view of the city lights below. Or, schedule your flight just before sunset for a chance to capture the setting sun in your flight video.

Our most popular aerobatic flight is a 45 minute supersonic adventure, but a shorter, subsonic flight is available for a reduced price. For complete details, call or email Greg.

RV Tiburon Bound for the Bahamas

In May, an exploration team led by RV Tiburon Captain Tim Taylor incredibly located and documented the wreck of the WWII submarine USS R-12 off the coast of Key West, Florida. The sub mysteriously sank in seconds, back in 1943, carrying 42 servicemen to their deaths. (Read more about the discovery here.)

In October, Tim and his team are heading for the Bahamas, on a mission to capture great underwater footage of sharks, sharks and more sharks. If you'd like to join them, let us know.
