This "Bad Kitty" is a Real Tigercat

Fly the Grumman F7F-3 TigercatThanks to a new partnership with the Historic Flight Foundation near Seattle, Washington, Incredible Adventures is now able to offer a multi-day flying adventure featuring three classic warbirds: the F7F-3 Tigercat, the B-25 Mitchell and the T-6 Texan.

The Foundation's Tigercat, christened "Bad Kitty" is one black cat you want to cross your path. It's one of just six Grumman Tigercats still flying today.

Grumman designed the Fly the Tigercat at the Historic Flight FoundationTigercat to be the Navy's first twin-engine fighter capable of launching from Midway carriers, but the new fighter flunked its carrier landing tests. The plane saw no service in World War II but was used as a low-level fighter and photo reconnaissance plane in the Korean War.

By 1954, almost all Tigercats were headed to the scrap heap. Luckily, "Bad Kitty" was one of several rescued and given new lives as fire fighters. "Bad Kitty" flew over 1300 hours as a fire fighter. If cats have nine lives, "Bad Kitty" is now on Life #3, helping visitors to the Historic Flight Foundation experience aviation history first hand.

Fly in Grumpy, a B-25 BomberIn addition to a flight in "Bad Kitty", our new Warbirds Over Washington Adventure includes a flight in "Grumpy", a B-25 Bomber and a T-6, that probably has a name too, but we don't know it.  The $10,500 price also includes ground transfers from Seattle/Tacoma Airport to the Historic Flight Foundation's home in the nearby town of Fly the T-6 over the Cascade Mountains or San Juan Islands Mukilteo, plus waterfront accommodations and Boeing Tour tickets. (There is no extra charge to "split" the package with a friend. Ask us for details if you're interested.)

This program is so new, it's not on our website yet, so if you want more information, you need to give us a call or send us an email.  We have, however, posted a great Tigercat video taken at the famous Reno Air Races on the Featured Videos page of our site.

Mission Accomplished

We've been on a mission to locate another Douglas DC-3 available for introductory flights and pilot training.  (The DC-3 flights we've been offering near Atlanta are not currently available.) We're excited to announce that we've found one!

We can't release all the details just yet, but if you've been dying to get into a DC-3, give us a call or send us an email. We can make it happen....some place sunny...not far from a beach...or our office.

Now's the Time to Apply to Fly in July

Fly a MiG-29 in Russia with Incredible AdventuresThis warning goes out to all procrastinators and last-minute planners. It can take up to 60 days to obtain the necessary security clearance to fly a MiG-29 in Russia. Most of our adventures can be arranged with very little advance notice, but a MiG adventure requires advance planning.

Look at it this way....that gives you more time to look forward to the thrill of flying in a legendary MiG.

For Those Who Fly By the Seat of Their Pants*

Make a movie in the L-39 jet trainer.Let's say you get the sudden urge to fly a fighter jet and can't bring yourself to wait two months. We do have an option for you. If you can get yourself to California or Florida, we can sometimes arrange a flying adventure with as little as a few days' notice.  Flying in an L-39 jet trainer is not the same as flying in a MiG-29, but it's an incredible adventure without a doubt.

*Sorry. Sometimes, we can't resist the urge to use American slang, even though we know some of our readers are from other countries and might not "get it".

It's a Long Trek to Your Seats for This Concert

Join the World's Highest Gig in NepalIn 2005, Music4children broke the world record for the "The Highest Gig" at Kalapattar Mt Everest and raised enough money to build an orphanage for the children of Nepal.

Their record setting performance at 5545 meters (18,190 feet) has since been topped by another group, so they're heading back to Nepal this October to reclaim their place in the record books and raise additional money for the orphanage.

You can join them, either as a musician or an audience member.  Either way, it's sure to be an event you'll remember forever.

Join the World's Highest Gig in NepalThis time, the World's Highest Gig is planned for Mera Peak in Nepal and an altitude of 6476 meters (21,240 feet). Mera Peak is the highest of the "trekking peaks" in Nepal.  Performers and audience members need not be super fit or experienced mountain climbers. The trek will follow "the easy route" up Mera and includes extra time to acclimatize to altitude.

Incredible Adventures is proud teaming with Music4children and Adventure First Nepal to offer three separate participation options, ranging in duration from 11 to 24 days and in price from $6900 - $28000.

If you can't join the group from start to finish, you can shorten the trip by skipping the trek down and flying back by helicopter. If time is even shorter, you can skip the Highest Gig on Mera and meet up with the group on their return.  On the way back down, they'll be stopping in Lukla to perform at a monastery and street festival.

Watch this video and listen to Music4children Founder Oz Bayldon talk about the World's Highest Gig.

If you can't be part of this special event, please consider making a donation to this great organization. For more information, give us a call or send us an email

Your Parachute is Waiting

Skydive EverestYou don't have to be a licensed skydiver to join Klaus and the incredible Everest Skydive team in Nepal this October. Tandem jumps are offered to those with little or no prior skydiving experience.

Our friend Klaus found Everest Skydiver and IA friend Klauslast year's Everest Skydive so incredible that he's going back this October to Skydive Everest again. (That will be after he returns from the Sardine Run in South Africa. He's a very adventurous friend.)

You could brag you made your very first skydive at Everest, which sounds lots more impressive than saying you made your first jump in Florida.

For a sense of just how amazing the Everest Skydive Adventure really is, watch the 20 minute video on our website. To receive complete adventure details, send us an email.
