 In 2005, the charity Music4children
broke the world record for the World's
Highest Gig when they performed a concert at Kalapattar,
Mt Everest. More importantly, they raised enough money to
build an orphanage in Nepal. That record has since been
stolen from them. You can help them steal it back.
Music4children founder Oz Bayldon
is preparing to lead a group of music loving adventurers
up Nepal's Mera Peak this May, to make musical history,
reclaim a spot in the record books, and raise enough funds
to support the new orphanage for two years. Both performers
and audience members are needed to insure a new record and
meet the organization's fundraising goals.
Mera Peak stands 22,476 ft high and is the highest mountain
in Nepal accessible to people without significant mountain
climbing experience. As long as you're in reasonably good
health, you can make the trek to the World's Highest Gig. Choose
from four different adventure packages of different durations
and comfort levels.

 Music4children is an all-volunteer organization, based in London, that raises
money for children through music festivals and events. Staff
