We hope you enjoy our new Book
of Dreams, a digital catalog of some of our most popular
adventures. (One early viewer blames it for significantly
lengthening her bucket list.)
The software our incredible webmaster Nancy used to create
the catalog makes it easy for viewers to share the Book
of Dreams with others or post it to one's Facebook or
Twitter account. It is the season for sharing,
so if you like it, please consider passing it along. It
would be a wonderful holiday gift to us :)
The debut of our new Miami Covert Ops Adventure is just a month
away. Add a pair of camouflage pants to your Christmas list
and sign up now to be one of the first to experience four-days
of intense counter terror training.
Our Miami Covert Ops mission
is under the command of Garret
Machine, a former soldier in the Israeli Defense Force.
His unit, "Duvdevan", is the Israeli equivalent
of the US Army's "Delta Force" and specialized
in undercover work, urban warfare, targeted assassinations
and kidnapping of wanted militants.
The action-packed itinerary
includes instinctive shooting, rifle familiarization, combat
first aid, handcuffing, close quarter combat, Krav Maga
martial arts, anti-ambush techniques and a whole lot more.
Although the
training is very
real and qualifies participants to apply for a State of
Florida concealed weapons permit, the primary mission is
fun. You'll leave tired and happy, with a new respect for
the men and women who fight terror for real.
Our first Miami Covert Ops Adventure
is slated for January 26th - 29th. The $3895 price includes
expert training, use of equipment, lodging at a nearby hotel,
ground transfers and most meals. Travel to Florida is not
included.
Wouldn't a Covert
Ops Adventure in Florida make the perfect holiday gift
for the camo loving person in your life?
(*This article's headline is a subtle reference to country
music superstar Brad Paisley's song "Camouflage".)
On the third day of December, the blue sea showed to us:
three tigers swimming, two lemons cruising and a reef shark
swimming by our cage.
Yes, Bahamas
shark divers enjoyed another incredible day at Tiger Beach
earlier this month. Photos captured by IA dive leader Matt
Potenski confirm it.
Matt will be back in the Bahamas
(with his camera) on March 31st and again April 21st.
The cost to dive is $875 or you can pay $375 to view topside.
Trips depart from Old Bahama Bay Marina on the West End
of Grand Bahama Island. Private charters can also
be arranged.
If
you'd like to join Matt in March or April on a cage dive
with big sharks, give us a call or send
us an email. (Wouldn't a Bahamas shark
adventure make an incredible gift for someone else...or
yourself?)
You can view more of Matt's incredible Tiger Beach photos
on Facebook.
You
may remember reading in an earlier newsletter about plans
to perform the World's
Highest Gig on a mountainside in Nepal. The World's
Highest Gig was scheduled for October, around the same
time as our Everest Skydive.
That plan got a quick rewrite when organizer Oz Bayldon
suffered a minor injury that left him unable to make the
October trek. Rather than attempt to set a new world
record without him, a decision was made by the rest of the
team to reschedule the gig.
That's actually good news for you. Now, you have another
chance to join Music4children's Oz Bayldon in Nepal for
the World's Highest
Gig and help raise money to support an orphanage in
Nepal. We haven't made the updates to our website yet, but
the event is now slated for May 2012. To receive current
info, send us an email.
Our US office will be sort of closed the week between
Christmas and New Year's Day. We won't be working normal
hours, but we'll still monitoring our
email and phone messages.
Be
sure to check out our company
Facebook page when you have time. We often post
photos and news to Facebook before we
post it anywhere else.

Join
Incredible Adventures and OceanGate Expeditions as
a Mission Specialist aboard Antipodes,a five-person
deep-diving research submersible. You don't have to
be a certified diver or even a strong swimmer to explore
more than 900 feet beneath the sea on a special two-day
mission of discovery.
View the wonders surrounding historic shipwrecks
and never-before-seen artificial reefs from one of
the vessel's two large viewing domes. Help to document
and solve some of the mysteries of the deep.
Conducting
science in a sub is serious fun and requires specialized
pre-dive training. Before your dive, you'll spend
a day with our incredibly smart and experienced sub
crew, mastering the skills necessary to make yourself
a valuable sub crew member. You'll receive an
orientation in undersea communications, sonar operations,
subsurface navigation, research procedures and undersea
photography.
You'll
learn the best way to photograph rarely seen undersea
creatures from a sub. From Guest Experts and Scientists,
you'll discover how to identify, count and document
native and invasive sea life and assist in surveying
the condition of undersea relics. Most importantly,
you'll have an incredible adventure and do good, too!
Your time (and the money you pay for your dive) helps
to support ongoing scientific research.
We're now seeking Mission Specialists for our February
dives off the coast of Miami, Florida. Availability
is limited. Pricing varies and ranges from $5000 to
$7500 a person. Don't miss this rare opportunity
to play an active role in deep ocean exploration. For
more information, call 800-644-7382 or send
us an email.

We've
added some great photos from Steiger's historic
first-ever Zion National Park crossing to
our website. For those who missed the news, IA's
resident balloon
stunt pilot recently became the first to ever
cross Utah's Zion National Park by hot air balloon.
The park's terrain offers few options for landing
safely so the crossing required weeks of careful planning.
find the slideshow. Then, call or email
us to arrange an extreme Zion crossing or incredible
balloon skydive with Steiger.
(A gift certificate for an extreme
hot air adventure is sure to be the best thing
in someone's stocking.)
This year,
we had a record number of MiG
flyers from Canada, making 2011 our "year
of the flying Canadians". If the current
flight schedule is any indication, 2012 may prove
to be our "year of the flying Septuagenarians".
That's the word for people in their 70's. We know,
because we had to look it up. We don't encourage people
to wait until they're 70+ to book a MiG flight over Russia,
but don't think your age will prevent you from living
out a flying dream. As long as you're in reasonably
good health, you can do just about anything we offer.
