San Francisco Shark Dives On Sale Now

2018 Season Kicks Off September 29th

Peak season for cage diving with great white sharks in San Francisco is mid-September through late-November. We're kicking off our 2018 shark viewing season September 29th, and continuing our trips on select dates through November 17th.

Some of the world's biggest white sharks travel to San Francisco's Farallon Islands each year, to feed on the local population of elephant seals. The islands are a part of the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary and lie roughly 25 miles off San Francisco's coastline. Our educational trips are conducted under the terms of an educational permit, issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA).

Trips depart from San Francisco's Pier 40, near AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants. No dive experience is required. Cage divers pay $825 for an adventure that includes white shark education, cage diving instruction, use of a wetsuit, hood, boots, gloves and dive weights, plus on-board meals and refreshments. Topside observers pay $475. Underwater cameras are available on the boat for complimentary use and all captured images are shared among participants.

Maintenance is a number one priority for our partners at Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG, so when the MiG-29 dedicated to providing customer demonstration flights exhibited signs of engine trouble, the aircraft was immediately grounded. We're happy to report that the expert technicians at the Sokol MiG Factory have completed necessary repairs and scheduled maintenance. We are now just waiting for officials at MiG headquarters to approve the re-starting of flights, and provide us with 2018 pricing and flight availability.
