Add a San Francisco Sky Tour to Your Shark Dive Adventure

We're still on track to kick off our San Francisco shark diving season on September 26th. Sharks have already started appearing off the California coast, so we're anticipating a sharky year.

The cost to cage dive is $825, plus insurance. A limited number of topside spots are available for $475. Trips will be operated with new protocols to minimize COVID risk and are conducted under the terms of a federal permit.

This year, you can add a San Francisco air tour to your shark diving adventure. Flights take off from Hayward Executive Airport, about 30 minutes from where our shark boat docks, and can be scheduled the day prior or after your Farallones shark expedition. See the Golden Gate, Alcatraz, Angel Island and more from the sky. A custom flight for two is $475. Flights can also be purchased online.

Fly the Legendary F-104 Starfighter

Licensed Pilots Can Fly the Famous Astronaut Maker

At the moment, only licensed pilots can fly the F-104 Starfighter, L-39 Albatros and Marchetti S211 in the US. Introductory and advanced training flights are available that allow pilots to log time.

Non-pilots can fly other incredible aircraft, including a P-40 Warhawk, T-6 Texan, L-29 Delfin and 1941 Stearman. Air combat adventures can also be arranged in the g-loving Extra 300.

NatGeo & Discovery Air Shark Programming

Watch "SharkFest" Now and "Shark Week" in August

National Geographic's "SharkFest" started on July 19 and will air 100+ hours of shark programming over five weeks. Discovery's "Shark Week" is scheduled to begin August 9 and will feature 20 hours of special programming.

The cable networks love sharks as much as we do! Their websites feature a variety of shark videos and shark facts. NatGeo even offers sharky Zoom backgrounds.
