Take a flight in a legendary P-51 Mustang, one the aviation stars of World War II. No pilot’s license is required to strap into the jump seat of a fully-restored P-51 for a history lesson among the clouds.
The North American P-51 Mustang is a single-engine fighter and bomber that first saw military service during World War II. Today, the P-51 is a favorite of air show performers, air racers and private collectors. Actor Tom Cruise owns a P-51 and flew his in the “Top Gun” sequel “Top Gun: Maverick. Our P-51 Mustang is one of the few Mustangs in the US approved by the FAA to conduct passenger flights.
Flights take off from the North Bay Air Museum at Sonoma Valley Airport (sometimes known as “Schellville”). The private airport is about four miles north of the town of Sonoma, CA and is a little over an hour’s drive from San Francisco International Airport and Oakland International Airport.
P-40 Warhawk , T-6 Texan and Biplane flights are also available at Sonoma Valley Airport. Consider adding additional flights to your Sonoma flying adventure.
60 minute flight: $2999 plus applicable fuel surcharge paid on day of flight*

Who Can Fly?
You should be in reasonably good health and must be 48” or taller to fly. A release of liability must be signed before being permitted to fly.
Are Photos & Video Available?
We do not provide photos or video but you are welcome to bring your own camera, as long as it has a wrist strap. For safety reasons, no phones or cameras of any kind are permitted in the aircraft unless secured with a strap.
