New Shark
Boat Adds to Adventure |
Travel to San Francisco's Farallon Islands Aboard the 65
ft Derek M Baylis
Our 2015 California shark diving season gets underway Saturday, October
3 and continues on select weekend dates through November 14. Online booking is now available through a new
partnership with Zozi.
This year,
shark divers and topside observers will travel to the home of some of the world's biggest white
sharks aboard the Derek M Baylis, the same luxury custom-built sailboat utilized by the Sanctuary's
long-time shark taggers. The vessel's large deck, comfortable interior and superior stability
makes her an excellent platform for offshore shark diving and research.
Cage divers pay $825 for an all-day adventure that departs from San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. No dive certification is required. We utilize a floating cage and
surface-supplied air and each trip is staffed with a certified dive instructor. Those content
to observe sharks and other Sanctuary wildlife from the deck pay just $475. For more information contact Incredible Adventures at 800-644-7382.

Fun to Watch, But More Fun to Fly |
MAKS 2015 Featured Incredible Performances
This year's MAKS Air Show featured
incredible performances by some of Russia's top demonstration teams. IA's Greg Claxton was at
the late August show with IA clients and fellow adventure team members. We've posted one of the videos Greg captured
to the IA Facebook page.
We're sure many at the show
looked to the sky and wondered what it must be like to perform rolls, loops and other spectacular
maneuvers in a legendary MiG fighter jet, but we know Nicole didn't. She flew a MiG over Russia with Incredible
Adventures several years ago and still remembers every incredible moment.
Contact Incredible Adventures today to schedule your own MiG-29 flying adventure and you'll
star in your own "air show" video. Each MiGs over Russia package includes
both high-definition video footage and still photography. Prices range from $17,000 to
$26,000+.

Report Shark Sightings to Help
Scientists
Please join us in
supporting SharkBase, a citizen science project lead by
Dr. Ryan Kempster, a shark biologist with the University of Western Australia. SharkBase is a global shark encounter database established to
assist scientists in mapping the distribution of sharks worldwide, with the help of the public. Take
a moment to report past shark sightings and you'll be helping sharks! Even if you haven't yet seen a
shark in the wild, you can help SharkBase by reporting sightings
you see in the news or on the internet. You can view a
short video about the project here. Visit www.shark-base.org for more information.
