Float Like a Cosmonaut November 10th |
Experience Zero Gravity Aboard the Russian Space Agency's IL-76 MDK Apply to Fly by September
20th
Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience weightlessness aboard the very same plane used to prepare
cosmonauts and astronauts for space travel. The IL-76 MDK features the most floating space of any of the world's zero-gravity space training
planes. The specially-modified Ilyushin 76 cargo plane has a giant-sized cabin and each flight is limited to just 14 participants.
The Russian Space Agency's IL-76 MDK
"floating laboratory" is heavily used to train professional space travelers destined for the International Space Station. As a result, the
general public is given just a few opportunities to train in zero-g each year.
If you'd like to be part of this incredible
November space training adventure, you must apply for medical and security clearance no later than September 20th. Pricing starts at $6950 per person.
All participants must be at least 18 years of age and provide passport details and proof of good health.
The Russian Space Agency's IL-76 MDK simulates
the weightlessness of space by flying special gravity-defying maneuvers known as parabolas. You can read more about how weightless conditions are produced on our website.
We strongly recommend adding a
day of space training at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center to your zero-g flight program to create the ultimate space adventure. You can complete space suit training, vestibular training and more the day
prior to your zero-gravity flight. Take a virtual tour of the
amazing facility, then contact us for a sample itinerary.

Let Us Put You in a Cage |
San Francisco Great White Shark Diving Season
Starts Soon
You don't have to be an experienced diver to get into the water with
very big sharks. Our great white shark diving adventures in San
Francisco make use of a floating shark cage and surface-supplied air. One of our certified dive instructors will teach you everything
you need to know to dive with great white sharks.
A typical California great white shark
diving adventure begins before sunrise. You'll board our shark boat at San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf and journey about 25 miles offshore to
the Farallon Islands, the seasonal home of one of the world's most significant white shark populations. We leave early to insure we're on
location at the islands during peak viewing times. On the way to the Farallones, we'll serve breakfast, share our knowledge of white sharks, help you
into your wetsuit and teach you cage diving basics. (This will be
our 10th season shark diving at the Farallones so we've learned a lot about the local sharks!) You should expect to return to the dock around 5 pm.
The $825 per
person cage diving price includes the use of a wetsuit, so there's no need to rent one or pack one for the trip. Breakfast, lunch and hot and cold
beverages are provided throughout the trip. A limited number of "topside only" spots are available for $475, to accommodate those who prefer
to stay dry.
Our 2015 San Francisco shark diving season gets underway Saturday,
October 3 and continues on select weekend dates through November 14. Private charters can be arranged on other dates.
