Singer Approved for Space Flight
Lance
Bass, a member of the popular US musical group *NSYNC, has successfully
completed the extensive medical tests required to qualify for a flight
to the International Space Station. The 23-year old's medical testing
was sponsored by Radio Shack and coordinated by Mir Corp and Destiny
Productions. Assistance was provided by Incredible Adventures and Luna
Corp. Former NASA executive Lori Garver, who hopes to become the first
soccer mom to travel to space, will serve as Lance's first runner-up,
filling his Soyuz seat should he be unable to fly for any reason.
