Spend an action-packed day inside the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center at Star City, using the same simulators used by cosmonauts to prepare for space travel.

A Day as a Cosmonaut

Train for space travel at the Russian space program for cosmonauts.

Detailed hands-on training mission in Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center includes:

  • Explore MIR and International Space Station Simulators
  • Explore Soyuz-TM Simulator
  • Complete Vestibular Training in the vestibular chairs and drum
  • Learn to navigate by the stars in the navigational simulator
  • View the Hydrolab from a special observation deck
  • See the 7m and 18m centrifuge
Star City tours and Cosmonaut Training

Also includes your choice of one of the following:

  • Training in the manual docking simulator
  • Training in Sokol-KV Space Suit, the one used for inflight operations
  • Training in Orlan-DMA Space Suit, the one used for space walks

  • Cosmonaut Training in the small (7m) centrifuge
  • Cosmonaut Training in the large (18m) centrifuge
  • Cosmonaut Training in the manual docking simulator

Note: To add more than one training option to the standard package requires the addition of an extra day for training.
