See
Florida from the cockpit of a very special Douglas
DC-3. This World War II veteran flew in Normandy
on D-Day and in Holland's Operation Market before retiring
from military service in 1945.
Today, when she's not being used to transport supplies
and humanitarian aid to remote locations, she's available
for introductory and advanced pilot training and film and
TV work.
(You
may recognize our Miami-based DC-3 from her appearance in
the James Bond movie "Quantum of Solace" or her
role in the movie "Amelia". She's also appeared
on the cable TV show "Burn Notice".)
Learn what it's like to fly "left seat" in a
legendary airliner. The DC-3 is the plane credited with
making air travel popular.
Together with an FAA certified DC-3 flight instructor,
you'll take off and land from Miami's first airport. Complete
just a single flight back in time for $2450, or enroll for
complete PIC/SIC* training. A valid FAA third-class medical
is required.

Licensed
pilots can now learn to fly one of our favorite fighter
jets in two great US locations. Get to know the incredible
L-39 near Tampa, Florida, or at our brand new location near
Atlanta, Georgia.
Schedule
an introductory flight with one of our FAA-certified L-39
instructors and see for yourself why the Czech military
trainer is so popular with US pilots. Introductory
flights sell for $3000. The cost of advanced training varies.

Our
Hollywood Top Gun
pilots held a Kids in Aviation Summer Camp in Los Angeles
earlier this month. Kids ages 10-14 were provided with a
hands-on introduction to a variety of aircraft at two different
airports. Camp highlights included getting to fly a simulator
and sit in the cockpit of an L-39 Albatross.
The camp earned rave reviews. Here's what one parent had
to say:
"Thank you for all the great
real world learning activities! We
are very impressed and he was absolutely thrilled with his
experience. Please, put us on the mailing list for any future
camps or lessons".
Schedule an L-39 flight with one
of our Hollywood Top Gun
pilots and you'll be impressed too. Our pilots combine great
flying with great filming experience, insuring you get the
high-quality footage you need for your own "top gun"
themed movie, commercial or promotional video.
You don't have to be a pilot to make a movie in the L-39,
but some basic requirements must be met. For scheduling
and other details, send
us an email or give us a call.
We
recently added a new Live Chat feature to our website. You
can now communicate with us quickly and easily without picking
up a telephone or taking the time to send
an email. With a simple click of a green button on our
website, you can ask us questions regarding shark dive availability,
adventure pricing and more.
You can also ask us to buy you a new dress, as one person
did this week, but we'd rather you didn't.
Incredible
Adventures continues to accept advance reservations for
future flights aboard XCOR Aerospace's
Lynx rocket plane. The initial version of the Lynx is
set to be flying its first passengers from Mojave, California
within a couple of years and is being designed to carry
a pilot and passenger up to 200,000 feet high. The price
for a flight in the Lynx Mark I is currently $95,000. After
flights commence in the US, Lynx Mark II flights will debut
in the country of Curacao.
Lately, XCOR Aerospace has been making news faster than
we can report it. The company recently announced plans to
establish a manufacturing and operations center in Florida
and establish a research and development center in Midland,
Texas.
Even
though it's now "old news", we couldn't resist
sharing this
press release from May. XCOR engineers came up
with a novel, money-saving method of testing new rocket
piston pump technology. They installed the pump on an experimental
motorcycle and took off on an incredible road trip. (Being
space guys, they had to visit Roswell, of course.) You can
see
great video highlights of XCOR's cross country motorcycle
trip on YouTube.
To learn how you can become one of the first civilians to
fly high in a Lynx, give us a call or send
us an email.

There's a great story surrounding every MiG
flight. Here are two of this month's favorites:
Behind
Mike's
MiG-29 flight is a love story. His flying adventure
was a surprise gift from his wife Cathy. Here is a
bit of what Cathy wrote before leaving for Russia:
"As our 20th wedding anniversary
was approaching, I began to think of ways that I could
make the milestone unforgettable. From that deep place
in my brain came Mike’s lifelong dream of flying
a mig. I immediately googled “fly a mig jet”.
There were several companies that claimed they could
arrange the flight. However, after much research and
many phone calls, I decided Incredible Adventures
out of Sarasota, Florida was the most legitimate and
trust
worthy. I called Incredible Adventures, asked
a hundred more questions, made a plan and never looked
back. Greg, my dream planner, walked me through every
step I needed to make in order to pull off the trip
of a lifetime.
On July 4, 2012, our 20th wedding anniversary,
I presented Mike with his trip. In front of family
and friends I was able to watch Mike’s face
as he realized that he was going to actually fly
a Mig 29 to the Edge of Space. It was all that
I had imagined it would be.
He was blown away. And speechless. And being speechless
for Mike is like a fish living out of water. It just
does not happen. The look on his face was the full
reward for all my preparations. It gave me great joy
and satisfaction that I was able to make a dream of
his come true. You see, over the past 20 years, Mike
has made all my dreams come true."
George's
story is one of determination and timing. When
he first spotted an ad for IA's MiG flights in "Pacific
Flyer" back in 1997, the time wasn't right for
him to fly. He tore the ad from the aviation paper
and held on to it FOR FIFTEEN YEARS. All that time,
flying a MiG remained on his list of things to do
in his lifetime. We're
happy the former police officer and commercial pilot
from Oregon can finally say he's been to the edge
of space.
Incredible Adventures has been making dreams like
these come true since 1993. Let us help make an adventure
dream come true for you.
