Schedule a three-hour cruise aboard the incredible Derek M Baylis and enjoy an unforgettable journey past some of some of San Francisco Bay’s most iconic landmarks. When she isn’t carrying cage divers to the Farallones for encounters with great white sharks, our favorite shark boat is available for private charters.
Sail under the Golden Gate Bridge. Cruise past Alcatraz. See and learn the history of Angel Island. Observe and learn about local marine life. We’ll provide a great boat, experienced captain, friendly knowledgeable crew and any desired catering. You provide the passengers and spirit of adventure.

An Incredible Sailboat
The Baylis is a one-of-a-kind 65 ft auxiliary-powered sailing vessel. Literally! Custom built for offshore research and education, there is no other boat like her. The US Coast Guard certified Baylis can comfortably accommodate 28 passengers and calls Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in San Francisco’s East Bay home. Passenger pick-up can be arranged in San Francisco as well as other Bay Area locations.
What to Expect
When you arrive at the designated dock, you’ll be welcomed aboard a beautifully maintained luxury sailboat by our friendly crew and experienced captain. What happens next is up to you. The day can be a hands-on teambuilding experience or a champagne cruise beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. It can be a nature encounter with a certified naturalist or a birthday celebration with your favorite music playing. It can be a business meeting with beautiful scenery or a celebration of life.

This is a custom adventure so pricing depends on the trip options selected. You can save on dock fees by departing from our home dock in San Francisco’s East Bay. Incredible Adventures can arrange catering, or you can supply your own. Note: The Derek M Baylis is licensed for beer and wine service only. No hard alcohol is permitted aboard the vessel.

Follow up your San Francisco Cruise with a high-adrenaline sightseeing flight and enjoy a bird’s eye view of San Francisco Bay. Biplane, T-6,
P-40 and P-51 warbird flights take off from Sonoma and Cessna flights take off from Hayward. Both airports are less than an hour from the dock.
