When
is training available?
Flight training is offered year-round but must be scheduled in advance.
Do
I need to be a pilot?
Yes. (Some exceptions to this rule are possible. Please contact Incredible
Adventures to find out if you qualify for a demo flight in the L-39.)
How
much does it cost?
The introductory flight lesson is $2650 US.
How
long is the program?
Expect approximately
45 minutes of ground school followed by approximately 45 minutes of
flying. By the time you add safety briefings and the pre-flight check,
you can expect the entire experience to last about three hours.
Is
there a discount for multiple flights and additional ground school?
Possibly.
Contact Incredible Adventures to ask about custom flight packages.
What
physical requirements are there?
You must have no known heart problems or medical conditions which
may be aggravated by g-forces. Eventually, in order to be certified
in the L-39, you will need a current flight medical. If you are taller
than 6’6” or heavier than 250 pounds, we may not be able to accommodate
you. Please ask before purchasing training.
Is weather a problem? It can be, depending
on the time of year. It is always good to have a “back-up day” available
in your schedule.
